Hmm, this page definitively needs improvements. The VOCJs must have tons of valuable information which we could put here. Champagne 22:30, 6 November 2006 (MST)

Well, I was able to find a paper discussing the history of the cabins until 1977. The paper was created due to the VOC lawsuit against AMS at the time (Blue binder "Student Court VOC Material Financial History" by B. Claus) . It seems that the club does a good job archiving when in desparate moments. We just need to connect the huts from the 1980's until now. The referendum of 1980 would be a good starting point...Champagne 00:10, 16 November 2006 (MST)

McGillivray pass hut location

Are you sure that's the right building and not Whitecap Alpine? It looks like there's another structure further west. Scott Nelson

Positive. I compared the background landscape and orientation of the picture we have on this page to a 3D Google Earth Map of the same location. They matched at 99.99%. Also, the shape of the building is rectangle and the construction is very sloppy, which is visible from the aerial view, as oppose to Whitecap Alpine hut. There's also 3 other buildings in the vicinity: Whitecap Alpine Lodge, 1st Unknown building, 2nd Unknown Building Champagne 19:18, 7 July 2008 (PDT)
