• December 29^th(?) - January 2^nd(?): Brian Waddington Hut New Year's 2008 Come and celebrate the new year in the club's biggest hut and shred some nar too.

• January 12^th - 13^th: Winter Longhike 2008 Ditch the tents and learn how to build a snowcave.

• January 19^th - 20^th : Avalanche course 2008 A primordial skill to know if skiing in the backcountry.

• January 19^th - 20^th : Skiing at the Waddington Hut A birthday is just another excuse to ski.

• January 24^th: Scott W. is organizing a ski tuning night. (Bring your skis, and any other tuning/waxing equipment). VOC Clubroom 5-7pm.

• January 26^th: Tele School 2008 Learn how to turn on telemark skis.

• January 26^th - 27^th : Second Avalanche course 2008 A primordial skill to know if skiing in the backcountry. Cancelled due to lack of participants

• September 15^th: Mandatory Dry School for Glacier School 2008 participants. 7pm Buchanan A-100
