Talk:Awards
Since I've only been with the club since June '06, I need at least two people to confirm any past winners over the last few years. Champagne 10:48, 4 November 2006 (MST)
Christian - Great work on digging up all this old information! This page seems to be getting pretty long with all the information about past winners - maybe it should be broken up into seperate pages for each award. Alternatively all the past history could be put into a single page called "awards history" or something like that and the main "awards" page would still have a description of all the awards and the most recent couple years of winners. Old awards which are not longer given out could go into the "awards history" pages. Scott Nelson 18:08, 8 November 2006 (MST)
- Ya, i've noticed that. Currently, I was thinking of completing it and then subdivise it into a few wiki pages since if I did each journal year, I'd have to modify two or more pages at once. Champagne 18:17, 8 November 2006 (MST)
Jean Sharp
I've found a reference about Jean Sharp's tragic death (I've linked it to the memorial) but should i put up the additional information? : "Nine men and four women, all UBC skiers, were having a post-Christmas ski holiday. They were all caught in the avalanche. Two managed to dig themselves out, and all the party was rescued and revived but Jean Sharp who failed to respond to artifical respiration." Koch or Kock
Near the end of the article there is reference to the Frank Koch award, then it says Kock. I don't know which one is correct. Probably Koch? Scott Webster 01:25, 24 November 2006 (MST)
- Cock :) It's actually Koch (check the trophy in the clubroom). Champagne 10:40, 24 November 2006 (MST)
