The Grouse Grind is a 2.9km trail that climbs 853 metres from the Grouse Mountain parking lot, to pleateau at the top. Look for a trailhead at the right side of the parking lot. It should be hard to miss, since it is extremely popular trail with Vancouverites. After finishing the hike, people can buy a $10 gondola ticket back down to the parking lot, or choose to hike back down (for those with good knees only). There are several good hikes around Grouse Mountain also, such as Crown Mountain, or Goat Mountain.

Check Grouse Mountain's websitefor opening hours. In the winter, the trail is offically closed, but people have been known to climb over the gated fence or go around the fence where it ends in the lower parking lot.

To get to the trailhead, you can either drive, take bus (no. 236 Grouse Mountain), or ride your bike.
