Archive:Brew Hut Rebuild/July 30
Seven people went up to the hut Saturday to finish off the outside skin and to make the inside livable. Four more people came up on Sunday (carrying a few gallons of paint), increasing the workforce to eleven. This meant three or more different tasks (metal, sheeting, painting, calking) could be done at once.
All the hard work resulted in many of the finish the hut tasks being completed. The new stove was tested and the next group up to the hut can sleep in the cosy, clean hut (providing they refrain from indoor painting).
There are still many small tasks to complete on the new hut and the old hut needs to be converted to firewood.
