Start: Friday, Jul. 11th
End: Saturday, Jul. 12th

Description:

I've always wanted to visit Brandywine meadows during wildflower season! I've only heard wonderful things about the flora and scenery on this trail.

The rough plan is to drive up Friday night - camp at the meadows, summit Brandywine mountain Saturday morning, then head back to Vancouver for the evening.

Getting to the meadows should be ~11km and 800m elevation gain round trip. While the mountain is ~16km and 1500m elevation (total, not additional to the meadows).

Beginners are welcome and can join for just the meadows portion if they don't feel comfortable sumitting the mountain.

Depending on bears and preference of the group, this may turned into day trip for Saturday. We will also need a vehicle with clearance to get to the trail.
