Description:

I only have two finals (joy!), but I have 13 days between the two (agony!). I’ve decided that instead of stirring around inside for two weeks straight, I’m going to paddle around for some of it.

 

I’m going to circumnavigate Bowen Island by sea kayak, starting and ending at Jericho(ish). If you’d like to join me, it would make me most comfortable if you’re at least an intermediate-level paddler, or a competent beginner in the process of advancing your skills. We will be crossing a large channel and the days may be long, depending on the group we could do this in two or three days.

 

Gear

  • Boat/paddle(s)/pfd/safety stuff

  • Camp gear (camp kitchen, sleep set-up, headlamp, etc)
  • Dry Bags
