Description:
Four days of whitewater kayaking. This it NOT A VOC EVENT! Heber Fever is an annual kayak festival organized by the magnificent Vancouver Island Whitewater Paddling Society.
This trip posting is mainly to organize ridesharing. Gold River is not very close to Vancouver... Once you make it to Campbell River you've still got a couple hours heading inland until you reach the site. But boy will it be worth it! This is usually a great time for kayaking, with the rain and spring freshette. This is a fun opportunity to meet new paddling buddies from all over BC. There are activities for most levels available, and you could rent gear from the VOC.
Check out this sick YT video for last year's montage.
