Description:

This Monday (thanksgiving long weekend) is shaping to be sun and clouds, so I will be finishing my turns all year challenge with the month of October!

I will be parking at 1300m and bootpacking up with skis to the ridge before the peak (~2000m) to get a few turns in on a safe ~150m stretch of the glacier before returning. Recent snow on route means, bringing warm layers, mountaineering/sturdy boots, and a helmet.

This trip is not beginner friendly in the conditions right now but if there are any #tay skiers (or really committed hikers that have experience hiking in snow covered rock) that want to join me I'd love the company! I have room for ~5-6 people in my car with ski gear.

We should be back by 7pm in Vancouver.
