Description:

I would like to host a paddleboard potluck this summer!

I have nicknamed this event "SUPputerie"  - StandUpPaddleboarding + Charcuterie = SUPputerie!

Here’s the plan - Thursday June 20th

5:00 - Meet here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/vrfVU24VcjvnKv5J6

We take about 30-45 minutes preparing our paddleboards. Pumping them up, packing our stuff, finding parking for vehicles etc.

5:30ish – Start paddling this route. We can make some course changes depending on group size and schedule if needed.

6:45ish – Arrive at this location where we will drop an anchor and circle up, share some charcuterie style food and good laughs. I'll be doing a fondue! Maybe there will be a singalong? It is a quiet bay so connecting our paddleboards with bungees or a few throw bags will be easy.

We will keep an eye on the time and paddle back once food sharing has wrapped up.

So here is what you will need:

  • Your paddleboard or a rented one
  • A paddle
  • A leash
  • Your food
  • A PFD/lifejacket – this is your choice, I’m an advocate for not drowning,
  • A bag to put your food in while paddling
  • Things to serve/eat your food with
  • Cup or thing to drink with
  • A light for front and back (headlamp or other) – sunset is at 9:08pm, we will be returning as it gets dark.
  • A bungee or cord to connect your paddleboard to someones elses.

Rental Options:

I am still brainstorming where people could rent their paddleboard from. Open to ideas. Perhaps those interested could do a group booking somewhere? Message me with ideas!

I am open to doing some carting of paddleboards if people need assistance transporting to or from their place of residence. Paddleboard stacking is an art!

I don't think we need a pretrip meeting. But message me on discord if you have questions!
