Description:

I recently completed the Mount Albert Edward hike and now I'm setting my sights on a new goal: conquering Golden Hinde. For those who aren't familiar, Mount Albert Edward is the sixth tallest mountain on Vancouver Island, while Golden Hinde claims the title of the tallest.

The Golden Hinde trek spans approximately 51km round trip and is definitely not recommended for beginners or those new to hiking/backpacking. However, it promises an exhilarating experience for those ready to take on the challenge.

Right now, my main concerns revolve around the weather conditions and the potential for smoke coverage in the area, given the ongoing Mount Con Reid fire.

Let me know if you are intrested!

Wyatt
